“Y.O.U.T.H.Full Intelligence for Child Welfare Supervisors”
In October 2005 we were awarded one of six federal grants to develop curriculum for child welfare supervisors in California, Hawaii, Guam and Samoa. This curriculum was developed by a group of former foster youth who currently work in business, as lawyers, child welfare workers and supervisors, undergraduate and graduate students. Curriculum content was also heavily influenced by social work supervisors across California who were interviewed about their needs and training preferences. This curriculum is offered in training or conference format, and includes two museums.
